Abstract

This paper outlines the idea of the Intelligent Super Base-Station (ISB) which is an advanced cellular base-station. The ISB is based on software radio techniques. We present three different architectures with which the ISB is constructed. For each architecture, the superconducting devices are essential for the ISB system because of the high-speed nature and highly sensitive nature of superconducting analogue-to-digital converters based on the single flux quantum logic. We also present the scenario of the development of the ISB using LTS and HTS junction technology.
