Abstract
MicroRNA (miRNA)is small non-coding and single-stranded RNA existing in plants and animals with 19-25 nucleotides,miRNA expression is cell or tissue specific. The construction of miRNA has high conservation among different species.MiRNA regulate gene expression by binding with complementary sequences and inhibiting translation of target genes. They participate in tumor cell proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis processes as function as oncogenes or tumor supressor genes.Studies show that the abnormal changes of miRNA expression occurring in tumors, and it is involved in tumor development.Clarifying the relationship of miRNA and tumor gene in the oncogenesis is important for miRNA as potential therapeutic targets.
