Abstract

Ubiquitination is a widespread and significant means of posttranslational modification which reversibly regulates the stability, activity and localization of target proteins. It plays an important role in regulating the immune responses in immune system.Innate immunity is the first line of defence of the body against foreign pathogens. After exposed in the body, the pathogen recognises and that imitiate binds pattern recognition receptors (PRRs) in immune cells through pathogen associated molecular patterns (PAMPs),activating a series of signaling pathways further starting innate immune response.Ubiquitination and Deubiquiitination play a crucial regulatory role in multiple signaling pathways. This review discusses the regulation of innate immune responses by ubiquitination. Key words: Ubiquitination; Innate immunity; Deubiquitination ; Pattern recognition receptors
