His primary research areas include cognitive processes, social conflict, human development problems, and psychohistory. Major publications are a textbook in personality development and two anthologies: Human Judgment and Social Interaction (with David Summers, 1973), and Varieties of Psycho-history (with George Kren, in press, 1976). His current work involves another book on psychohistory with Kren.
