Abstract

The Moringa oleifera, exotic species of multipurpose has if outstanding as a promising forage for the livestock in the semi-arid of the Brazilian northeast, in the periods of hidric scarcity. The objective of this study were to evaluate the influence of the use in different source of manures in the growth of the Moringa oleifera, in function of different ages of cuts. The experiment was carried in nylon screen, in the district of Patos (PB). The experimental desing was completely randomized, arranged in a 4 x 4 fatorial layout. The treatment were: no manure, application of cattle, goat and chicken manure and four ages of cuts. It was used of 20 t.ha of cattle and goat manures and 10 t.ha of chicken manure. The chicken manure application promoted the largest increments in the parameters height, length and diameter of Moringa plants, until the 90 days after the sowing. It was verified that the different organic fertilizers and the cut ages exercised influence on the concentration of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Keyword: organic manuring, height, diameter.
