Abstract

(Abstracted from Gynecol Oncol 2022;165:664–670) Adoptive cell therapy (ACT) is a form of immunotherapy that has shown promising results in hematologic malignancies and some solid tumors. In ACT, autologous immune cells are extracted, expanded, and stimulated or engineered for reinfusion alongside growth factors to augment in vivo anticancer activity.
