Abstract

It was established that the temperature dependence of the adhesion characteristics of magnesite dust is similar to that of its specific electrical resistance. The specific tensile adhesion strength of the dust is at maximum, viz., 16·10−3 kgf/cm2, at 200°C. The temperature dependence of the adhesion characteristics of the dust must be taken into account when designing dust precipitators and their cleaning devices.
