Abstract
Attention Deficit Hyperkinetic Disorder (ADHD) is a childhood onset disorder that can persist in adulthood. Through its etiological and clinical heterogeneity, ADHD becomes a complex disorder with serious implications for the functioning of the child or adolescent in the family, school, and group of friends. The multidisciplinary intervention becomes a necessity not only for the target symptoms (hyperactivity, attention deficit and impulsivity) but also for the social relations, the emotional regulation capacity and the functioning in the family, school and social environment through the active involvement of the child, family and cadres in the therapeutic process.
