Abstract

Objective: To annalise the health professional’s accession that act in Intensive Cares Units (ICU’s) in a private hospital of Grande Vitoria/ES, Brazil, as to the cleaning process of the hands and the time of May, June and July, 2019 and during the beginning of the pandemic of COVID-19 in May, June and July, 2020; Methodology: Describing study, explanatory with documental analysis in which was perform through the search and analysis of the documents of a Private Hospital of Grande Vitoria/ES, Brazil. The data collected has occurred between May and July, 2019 and May and July, 2020; Results: The tax of adhesion between the months of May, June and July, 2019 was 86% (153 conformity of 177 opportunities) and in the months of May, June and July, 2020 was 55% (2002 conformity and 3652 opportunity); Conclusion: In 2020 there was a fall in the adhesion of hand hygiene compared with the year of 2019.
