Abstract
Adsorptive properties of adenosine were determined using experimental data obtained from measurements of the differential volume of the double layer interface, the potential of zero charge and the surface tension with this potential. The possibility of determining parameters Emax and σmax indicate the physical nature of adenosine adsorption, which must be associated with the fact that the adsorbed adenosine particles exhibit vertical or diagonal orientation. The effect of inhibition of Zn2+ ions electroreduction was observed in acetate buffer with pH4 at the lowest adenosine concentrations. This results from the blockage of the electrode surface by flatly adsorbed adenosine particles. In the case of an acetate buffer with pH6 in the whole range of adenosine concentrations, an accelerating effect on Zn2+ ions electroreduction was observed.
