Abstract

A design method of adaptive H ∞ consensus control of multi-agent systems composed of a class of distributed parameter systems (infinite-dimensional systems) of parabolic type on directed network graphs, is presented in this paper. The proposed control scheme is formulated as a solution of certain H ∞ control problems, where the effects of neglected infinite-dimensional modes are regarded as external disturbances to the process. It is shown that the resulting control system is robust to uncertain system parameters and that desirable consensus tracking is achieved approximately via finite dimensional adaptive controllers.
