Abstract

The article analyzes the problems of adaptation of first-year students in the institutions of higher education. Disclosed and described the main stages of the implementation of adaptive learning with regard to the forms of organization of educational and extracurricular activities of students. The article describes the causes of students ‘ difficulties in the course of adaptation to the educational process of the University, and considers some of the ways and means of adaptation. It gives information about the work of the curator as an important part of the educational process of the University. The idea is substantiated that the adaptation of first-year students must create a psycho-pedagogical conditions for successful education, training, and professional and personal development of the student in the situation of its interaction with different participants in the educational process at the University.
