Abstract
The integration of distributed power sources into the distribution network has transformed the traditional radial topology structure of the distribution network into a multi-source structure, which can lead to a series of problems, such as voltage violations and bidirectional power flow in the lines. This situation presents a significant challenge to traditional distribution network protection technology. Therefore, based on the electrical characteristics of random loads and distributed power sources, the impact of distributed power source integration on fault characteristics and protection is analyzed, and the adaptability of different distribution network protection methods to distributed power source integration is evaluated. Key factors for improving the protection action characteristics of the distribution network are proposed.
