Abstract

Constrictive pericarditis occurs in less than 2% of patients after an episode of acute pericarditis. Up to 26% of patients with constrictive pericarditis are found to have an underlying malignancy. A 75 y/o male with recent acute pericarditis and pericardial window presented in cardiogenic shock.
