Abstract

1.1. The importance of considering the emotional and psychological aspects of pregnancy and parturition is presented.2.2. A psychosomatic approach to pregnancy and childbirth is outline and the results of its application to 531 patients are presented and discussed.3.3. It is concluded that a complete approach to pregnancy and parturition should include the psychosomatic aspects.
