Abstract
Environmental education contributes to the objectives of sustainable development, for this reason the study of educational strategies and the variables that can contribute to strengthening them has increased in recent years. The objective of this work is to know the sustainable attitudes in environmental education of students at the Polytechnic University of Altamira. Through a survey measured on a five-point Likert scale, composed of items, distributed in the variables: pre-ecological, frugality, environmental awareness, equity, ecological identity and altruism. The survey was applied to a sample of 95 students. The results were analyzed statistically, through a factorial and correlational study, showing that the study variables are validated. In addition to determining the level of development of each of them in an adaptation of Maslow's pyramid of needs that will allow us to determine the level of sustainable attitude that the student is acquiring.
