Abstract

The influence of a glycoprotein and its fragments on the RNA polymerase activity of nuclei has been studied. Both the glycoprotein itself and its fragments suppress the RNA polymerase activity of the systemin vitro, and the carbohydrate moiety suppresses the activity more strongly than the protein moiety.
