Abstract
A description is given of Actinospora megalospora n.gen., n.sp., an aquatic Hyphomycete growing on submerged twigs. The fungus has a branched dichotomous conidiophore bearing very large conidia (terminal thallospores) that are typically tetra-radiate. Growth in pure culture is described. A comparison is made with other Hyphomycetes having tetra-radiate conidia.
