Abstract

The effect of some crosslinking comonomers on the function of an acrylovinylic copolymer with pressure-sensitive adhesive properties is examined. It is concluded that there is dependence of the adhesion/cohesion balance on the existence of a threshold domain of concentration for each crosslinking component that is introduced in the copolymer composition. Evidence is obtained of the influence of temperature, UV irradiation and humidity on the adhesive properties.
