Abstract

A technique for the construction of acrylic resin casts from plaster casts has been presented. The resultant casts are not exact duplicates because of the shrinkage of the wax and acrylic resin, but the appearance is the same. All of the steps can be performed by auxiliary personnel in their spare time or as a training project. The uses of these casts are limited only by the imagination of the dentist.
