Abstract
A statistical analysis was made on a Uyghur language acoustical database which contained prosodic measurements from 333 trisyllabic words.The major part of the investigation concentrated on an acoustical analysis of the prosodic features of the trisyllabic words in Uyghur language.The word stress for own words in Uyghur language is fixed on the last syllable.The authors believe that this project not only has high research value for the study of Uyghur language but also has high research value for the study of entire Altay language family.
