Abstract
The paper proposes a design for an acoustic 4 × 2 encoder that incorporates acoustic waveguides within a two-dimensional square lattice phononic crystal structure. The encoder's structure comprises of a nylon matrix embedded with a 33 × 30 molybdenum rod array, featuring four input ports and two output ports. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed structure can effectively achieve the acoustic 4 × 2 encoder functionality. To evaluate the performance of the acoustic 4 × 2 encoder, we analyzed the transmission spectrum using the finite element method (FEM).
