Abstract ACO Eurobar EN-GJL-250C (5.1203) is an intermediate-tensile-strength gray cast iron that is produced by the continuous casting process. Compared with the lower strength gray cast iron grade, EN-GJL-200C (5.1202), it possesses superior wear resistance, while still maintaining good thermal conductivity, damping capacity, and machinability.
