Abstract

The aim of the current research is to identify the achievement of fourth-grade scientific students in physics, and for the purpose of achieving this goal, the two researchers used the descriptive approach of their research community, which consisted of (400) students of the fourth scientific grade from preparatory schools affiliated to the Directorate of Education in Al-Qadisiyah Governorate for the academic year (2020-2021). M) The researchers built an achievement test tool that consisted of (40) objective paragraphs, where the results showed that the research sample achieved good results in the physics achievement test, that there is a statistically significant difference in the physics achievement test, between males and females and in favor of males, and the most important The recommendations reached by the researchers that physics teachers use different methods in teaching physics as they contributed to increasing their achievement. The most important proposals are to conduct similar studies for other academic stages to identify the students' achievement in physics according to the gender variable, and to conduct similar studies with the diversity of variables.
