Abstract

A novel hybrid method, combining the conformal time domain finite integral theorem with the conformal particle-in-cell method, is applied to accurately analyze multipactor phenomena. To successfully apply this hybrid method in microwave devices, we propose a novel power-to-amplitude transformation technique in this paper. The PAT technique is effective and convenient to bridge the gap between the average input power in experiments and electromagnetic field amplitude in numerical simulations. In the end, a numerical example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed method, whose superiority is also greatly verified by experiments.
