The pharmaceutical industry, the international community, researchers, people living with HIV/AIDS, physicians, public-health professionals, and policy makers together should better define the demand and draw up a common response. In Cote d’Ivoire and in France we all meet around the table: the aim is to prepare a human response to the question of equity for patients with AIDS from developing countries in treating an illness that is otherwise deadly.
