Abstract
In advance of World AIDS Day (Dec 1), the 12th International Conference on AIDS and STDs in Africa (Ougadougou, Burkina Faso; Dec 9–13; www.cisma2001.bf/us/index.htm), and the 41st Interscience Conference on Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy (Chicago, IL, USA; Dec 16–19; www.icaac.org), we present an overview of selected HIV/AIDS websites that provide detailed, up-to-date information for clinicians, researchers, and patients on a wide range of topics, including treatment and prevention strategies, basic research, quality of life, and advocacy. Many of these sites will also feature coverage of World AIDS Day and related events and conferences.
