Abstract
Currently, there is an enduring digital inclusion gap impacting individuals with hearing impairment. This article out-lines various endeavors undertaken to bridge this gap, along with some of the identified problems and challenges. This participation aims to share known issues through an initial analysis and diagnostic process that have aided in pinpointing some of the key barriers. This will enable the development of potential solutions and guidelines in the quest for propo-sing new and more robust standards for the design of inclusive websites and mobile applications. This multidisciplinary approach (special education, information design, computer science) offers our perspective for digital inclusion, standing out for its contribution to accessible information
