Abstract
The article examines the mechanism of acceptance of the result of works in French civil law, its forms, features, legal consequences. The mechanism of acceptance of the result of works is considered through the prism of the genesis peculiarities of the works contract in French civil law. The relationship between the acceptance mechanism and the theory of dividing obligations into obligations to apply efforts and to achieve result is examined. The article analyzes the practice of French courts, which played a significant role in the formation of such mechanism.
