Abstract

We present the AC susceptibility, DC magnetization and specific heat measurements on an orthorhombic polycrystalline UAuAl sample. The results show typical cluster glass behaviors at low temperatures. To characterize the spin freezing state of this system, the static spin freezing temperature T s , critical exponent z ν and activation energy E a are determined from the dynamical analyses of the AC susceptibility data.
