Abstract
The rate of femoral artery access complication ranges from 0.2% to 4.6% and includes hematoma, arteriovenous fistula, arterial occlusion, and pseudoaneurysm. This case series evaluates off-label use of the Angio-Seal closure device (St. Jude Medical, St. Paul, MN) to treat patients with PSA after common femoral access that were either not responsive or not amenable to more traditional methods.
