Abstract
Subclinical hypothyroidism is a common health problem when compared with overt hypothyroidism, with an incidence of 3% to 8%, both associated with an increased cardiovascular risk. The aim of the study is to determine the association between high sensitive C-reactive protein and subclinical hypothyroidism in comparison with controlled patients with hypothyroidism under treatment, and also investigate the association between high sensitive C-reactive protein and dyslipidemia in subclinical hypothyroidism.
