Abstract

Large cavernous aneurysms are a rare cause of pituitary dysfunction (< 0.2%) due to mass effect and can mimic pituitary tumors. We present a case of hypopituitarism secondary to left Internal Carotid Artery (ICA) aneurysm treated with pipeline embolization, leading to complete recovery of pituitary function in 18 months.
