Abstract
This book commemorates the life, work and heritage of Professor Peter Fookes (1933–2020) who worked in over 100 countries and produced some 200 publications. He was the recipient of the William Smith and Glossop medals and was renowned for his pioneering work in engineering geomorphology, geomaterials and the development of ground models for engineering geology.
