Abstract
The coronary slow flow phenomenon is characterized by angiographically normal coronary arteries with delayed opacification of the distal vasculature. There is no available data regarding the clinical significance of this angiographic observation. In the present case, we reported an aborted sudden cardiac death in a 20 year-old man with angiographically documented normal epicardial coronary arteries with associated slow coronary flow. Transthoracic echocardiographic and electrophysiologic examination were found to be completely normal.
