Abstract
The present work is based on Marc Augé's concept of non-places proposed in 1992, as well as on Baumnian conception of liquid modernity, to account for the social acceleration and mass production of these non-places. Likewise, the Internet is proposed as a paradigm of non-place, understanding it as a space where the human being is alien to a reality that at the same time belongs to him.
