Abstract

Definitive management of obstructed hemivagina and ipsilateral renal anomaly (OHVIRA) syndrome involves surgical excision of the vaginal septum. A minimally invasive transvaginal approach is typically preferred. However, a transvaginal approach is not always feasible in a patient with a high vaginal septum. We describe two cases of OHVIRA with high vaginal septum that were successfully managed with abdominal vaginoplasty.
