Abstract

ABSTRACT A new polar ring galaxy has been found at 12h54m20.06s -12degrees12'58.0" (2000) with a total blue magnitude of 16.1 The inner component looks much like an E2 galaxy, whle the outer component, with roughly one fifth the brightness, lies within 2 degrees of perpendicular. A heliocentric redshift of 5456 km s-1 has been measured.
