Abstract
Heterogeneity which is ubiquitous between different Web services reduces the efficiency and accuracy of service discovery, matching and selection in dynamic Web services composition, as well as ability of interoperability between Web services. This paper studies the heterogeneity of Web services in the process of dynamic Web services composition carefully, divides the heterogeneity between Web services into three types, i.e. heterogeneity in description of service function, in representation of service interfaces and in attributes of parameters, proposes a novel approach to solve the problems during the process of Web service organization for dynamic composition, and builds a Web services 3-layers organization model which can solve the heterogeneity problem effectively. This model deals with the heterogeneity by constructing service clusters, static communities and dynamic communities, and realizes the effective organization and management of Web services, which can support the dynamic Web services composition much better.
