Abstract

The simultaneous electrochemical codeposition of copper and selenium is investigated by cyclic voltammetry at vitreous carbon disk and rotating platinum electrodes. The stoichiometry of the copper selenides obtained can be controlled with adequate choice of the working potential and of the electroactive species concentrations. Electrochemical redissolution of the copper selenides is discussed.
