Abstract

The Yudin Collection at the Library of Congress still awaits investigation. The author of this article, a librarian and rare book cataloger, provides background from Library of Congress and other sources, pays tribute to Alexis Babine, the first Library of Congress employee to work with Yudin's library, and then provides her own observations, based on 18 years' experience working with books from the Yudin Collection.
