Abstract

Model-based system engineering(MBSE) uses the architecture model to drive system development. It has been widely used in aeronautical and aerospace systems development. Integrated Logistics Support(ILS) design is an essential part of system engineering. Still, there is no clear guidance on how to perform model-based ILS architecture modeling. This paper proposes a unified model-based system and ILS architecture modeling framework, which analyzes the relationship between the system and ILS in different life cycle concepts and gives a clear ILS architecture modeling approach. The unified system and ILS architecture modeling way will take full advantage of the model from the mission level to the system level to guarantee the different architecture perspectives consistency and save cost and time in the engineering practice.
