A unified approach to the Hölder regularity of solutions to degenerate and singular parabolic equations

Abstract

We give unified proofs of the well-known Hölder regularity of locally bounded solutions to parabolic equations with structures modeled after the parabolic p-Laplace equation and the porous medium equation. This approach is based on expansion of positivity. The proofs make no use of logarithmic energy estimates.
