Abstract
In this article, we consider a rank test for a randomized block design based on the quantile score. The scores are appropriate in those cases when only a small proportion of the observations from each treatment group shows very high response values or when the response is dichotomous. We determine the asymptotic distributions of the proposed test statistic and the Pitman relative efficiency. A simulation study is performed for small samples.
