‘Congratulations, you've won the Schering-Plough Animal Health bursary’. When John Simmons, Schering-Plough's senior product manager, spoke those words the daunting prospect of giving a talk at the North American Veterinary Conference initially dampened my elation. However, the promise of a trip of a lifetime soon overcame my fears, writes award winner Stephanie Bryan.
