Abstract

In this paper, a topology is proposed which used three-bridge switching compensation network for load-independent constant current (CC) and constant voltage (CV) output with fixed-frequency in Inductive Power Transfer (IPT) system. The leakage inductance model of Loosely Coupled Transformer (LCT) is used to analyze resonant conditions of CC and CV output, and the parameters of the power transfer system were configured. A simulation prototype of IPT system with up to 3.7 kW for electric vehicle charging application is designed. The simulation and experiment results verify the correctness of theoretical analysis.
