A theoretical model for the stationary distribution of mobile ions in a double-layer insulator

Abstract

Analytical expressions are derived for the mobile ion distributions and electric field intensities in the double-layer insulator of the structure metal—insulator—semiconductor, as well as for the equivalent surface charges at the insulator—semiconductor and insulator-metal interfaces. The charge in the insulator is found to drift towards regions of higher permittivity. [Russian Text Ignored].
