Abstract
Simultaneously considering VTI and HTI anisotropic parameters in Kirchhoff pre-stack time migration (PSTM) for PP-wave or PS-wave data is an important data processing technology in improving the quality of migration when formation consists of layered and fracture medium. We propose a PSTM technology for PS-wave data considering both VTI and HTI anisotropic parameters in equations of travel times. However, unlike PP-wave PSTM method in VTI HTI media, PS-wave is also suffered from projections of PS1 and PS2-wave. It is necessary to separate PS-wave into PS1-wave and PS2-wave from radial-component and traverse-component data. The real 3D3C data were applied to demonstrate that the quality of PS-wave was improved obviously little by little from VTI to VTI HTI media and from PS-wave to separating PS1-wave and PS2-wave after a series of PSTM testing. The continuity and resolution of events on the PS1-wave VTI HTI anisotropic migration section were improved to be able interpreting.
