Abstract
A recording system has been developed suitable for making simultaneous pressure records from two intra-oral sensors. The system showed a linear sensitivity of 1 mm base line deflection for 2.7 g/cm 2 change of pressure over a range of 0–220 g/cm 2. There was no temperature sensitivity over a range of 25 °–38 °C. Response time for a half scale deflection was approximately 16 msec. Sensors were made as small as 3.5 mm dia. by 1.5 mm thick and could be attached directly to teeth by warm gutta percha and Eastman 910 cement requiring no prior preparation of special mounts.
