Naval Engineers JournalVolume 76, Issue 6 p. 969-972 A SYSTEMS LOOK AT WEAPONS TRAINING FRANCIS W. SHEPHERD, FRANCIS W. SHEPHERD THE AUTHOR:was a Sergeant in the Army Air Force in World War II. Since that time, he has been employed at the Naval Proving Ground, Dahlgren; in the Bureau of Ordnance in both the Research and Materials Divisions; and in several industrial organizations on Navy contracts. He has been a systems designer of Navy trainers at the Minneapolis-Honeywell West Covina, California, plant; and he is now with the Honeywell Military and Space Sciences Department in Washington, D. C. Besides his BME (College of the City of New York) and MSME (University of Minnesota), he obtained the Master of Engineering Administration Degree from George Washington University under the Navy Senior Management Development Program.Search for more papers by this author FRANCIS W.
